Mission
LaSalle Computer Learning Center exists to serve the unique academic needs of adult students who are looking for “hands-on, instructor-led” Information Technology training for the purpose of career changing, continued education for an existing career, or personal enhancement.
All aspects of the school's curricular activities are adult-centered and designed to accommodate individual learning styles so that all students may experience success in the workplace.
LaSalle Computer Learning Center employees will act ethically, honestly, and professionally when representing the scope and quality of our classes to the public and / or prospective clients.
Objectives
- To provide continuing education to adults with a focus on developing technical skills and obtaining various IT certifications that lead to gainful employment.
- To ensure that every student is given opportunity to develop his/her technical skills without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, economic status, or disability.
- To provide state-of-the-art, integrated technical programs which optimize the potential of each student and prepare them to meet industry specific performance and certification standards.
- To provide career counseling and assistance to students concerning information technology career opportunities and advancement.
- To use student evaluations and assessment results to review and improve curricula, courses, programs, and instructional practices.
- To continuously seek new areas of training required for community and industry development.
- To provide personnel with the resources and the support needed to grow and develop professionally toward a goal of raising student achievement.
- To develop partnerships with business, industry, government, and the community.
